Frances Minnerly Obituary
FRANCES U., 85
Ocala - Frances U. Minnerly, 85, born in New York, NY July 22, 1930; died in Ocala, FL September 30, 2015. Mrs. Minnerly was a member of Christ the King Anglican Church. She was an accomplished teacher with a master's degree and she taught at the McPherson School for Delinquents. In retirement, she devoted her time helping to feed the hungry and spending family time at The Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth, Susan, and Barbara Minnerly; brother, Dr. Edwin Updike; and sister, Alice Scannell.
Memorial service will be held Wed., October 14, 2015 12:00 PM at Christ the King Anglican Church. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends contributions be given to Feed The Children, or your local food bank. Arrangements entrusted with HIERS-BAXLEY FUNERAL SERVICES-Boulevard. Frances had such a sweet and giving spirit that touched and blessed the lives of so many, many who she did not even know or meet. I know her giving and kind spirit will continue through those whose lives she touched.
