Ocala - Jake L. Regenwether, 74, of Ocala, died Sunday July 26th at The Legacy House Hospice, Ocala.
Jake was born Dec. 18, 1940, in Clinton, Iowa to parents Jake and Alberta Nave Regenwether. He was a 1958 graduate of Clinton High School. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, enlisting in 1959. He worked at Coors Tech, Golden, CO for 29 years. He was actively involved with Foresters in Denver, CO and Ocala, FL. He married Linda Todtz on Nov. 28, 1964 at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Clinton, Iowa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Alberta Regenwether. Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Regenwether of Ocala; two daughters, Brenda Bedore of Ocala and Sherri (Bruce) Kennedy of Corona, CA; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marcia (Louie) Harmon of Ellenton, FL and Linda (Bill) Bradley of Columbia, TN.
Visitation will be held on Thursday July 30 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home Bruce Chapel West, 6241 SW State Road 200, Ocala. A funeral service will be held Friday July 31st at 8:30 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
