TALDI, JOHN T.
Ocala - John T. Taldi, 81, Jesus came and took him home from his earthly residence on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 where he was under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Marion County. Born on January 14, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York, son to the late Tony and Maria (DeMaria) Taldi, he moved here from Merritt Island in 1999. Until and even in retirement John was a baker by profession. He faithfully served his Lord and Savior and was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala where he ministered in many areas within the Church and the community. In his earlier years he was an avid baseball player and loved his Brooklyn Dodgers. He was the last of five siblings to be reunited in Glory. John is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Alesandra "Santa" Taldi; his children John J. Taldi (Helen S. ) of Yulee, FL and Debra R. Taldi of Port St. Lucie, FL; his grandchildren Kenny, Timmy and Maria and great-grandchildren Kenny, Jr., Tyler and Zoe. The funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 8:30AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala.
