BROWN, LEWIS E.
Lewis E. Brown, 78, formerly of Summerfield passed away on December 2, 2018 at home in Hanover, PA. He was the husband of the late Joann A. Brown after 42 years of marriage.
He is survived by his loving companion, Marilyn Miller of Hanover.
Born October 26, 1940 in Hanover, PA. Lewis was owner/operator of Brown Builders in Summerfield, FL for 25 years. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Summerfield and was an avid Nascar fan. Lewis enjoyed woodworking, repairing small engines and model train sets.
His survivors include four children, Cathy and Glenn Mainville of Lady Lake, Craig A. and Donna Brown, of Jacksonville, Carl A. and Michelle Brown of Oviedo and Wanda Kopchinski of PA; his brothers, Robert Brown of AZ, Phillip and Michael Brown of PA; seven grandchildren, Missy Null, Shawn Kopchinski, Nicole Brown, Robyn Brown, Cody Brown, Joshua Brumale and Justin Brown and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie and Ira Brown.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Lewis Brown will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church, Orange Blossom Hills Community Center (not OBH Country Club), 9230 SE 154th St., Summerfield with Pastor Dave Connell officiating. A time to share memories with the family will be on Saturday from 12 PM until the start of the service at Christ Lutheran Church. Inurnment will be private immediately following the service.
