Marion Simms Obituary
Ocala - Mrs. Marion Simms died at Munroe Regional Medical Center on Friday, November 28, 2008. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 7, 1928. Mrs. Simms was a homemaker and had lived in Ocala since 1993 when she moved here from Miami. She is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip G. Simms. Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Ann Fisher and husband, Stephen, of Tallahassee, FL; daughter, Jackie Simms of Miami, FL; son, Gary Simms of Ocala; daughter, Darleen Arana of Ocala; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services were held for Mrs. Simms at 2:00 pm on Monday, Dec 1, 2008 at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care of ROBERTS FUNERAL HOMES DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 606 SW 2nd Ave., Ocala, FL; 352-622-4141.

Mama Marion was the one who brought Tee and I together and the three of us became family like friends. I loved her dearly and will miss her always.
