CICH, MARY EDNA, 89
Mary Edna Cich, 89 years old, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend peacefully passed away on June 21, 2015 at Legacy House in Ocala, Florida.
Edna was born in Westbrook, Maine on November 15, 1925, daughter to the late Alex and Mildred Chaisson. She retired from S.D. Warren Paper Company of Westbrook in 1986. She and her husband, Gordon Cich whom she married in October 1973, moved to Florida in 1985. They were married for 42 years. They have lived in On Top Of The World in Ocala, FL for the past 22 years. She was a longtime member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala, FL. Edna will always be remembered as a gentle soul with a heart of gold.
She is survived by her beloved husband Gordon Cich of Ocala; children Francis Gieringer and his wife Cheryl of Hillsborough, Oregon and their children Francis, Zoe and Harry; Rosemary Faley and her husband Todd of Old Orchard Beach, Maine and their children; Sara Dauberman and husband Gary of Van Nuys, CA and their children; Oliver and Willa; Rebecca Clarkin of Hermosa Beach, CA, Ryan Faley of Portland, ME, Casey Faley of Old Orchard Beach, ME, Robert Gieringer and his wife, Sharon of Raymond, ME and their son, Nicholas and wife Nikki of Gray, Maine and their children, Emma and Hailey; Richard Gieringer and his Fiance' Patty DeSantis of Bradenton, FL; her three loving sisters, Dorothy McQuirk and Margaret Beane of Westbrook, Maine and Loretta Hughes of Waskom, Texas and sister-in-law Nola Chaisson of Raymond, ME; and step-daughter Mary Alice Cich and husband Wade Ramsey and their children, Bethany, Rebecca, Terran and Ericka.
A funeral mass will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala, FL on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 8:30AM. Committal services will follow at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Donations in Ednas' memory may be made to The Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478-4860, Attention: Fund Development.

It doesn´t seem possible that so much time has passed . And as always I miss you beyond anything words could possibly describe ! You were always my rock I could always lean on ! Life is busy and crazy but I´m still moving ! I hope you have reunited with Aunt Dottie and Aunt Margaret . I love you so much and so appreciate everything you ever did for me ! You were the best of the best !

Here it is 2023 and a lot has happened since you left us . We move on with time but miss you so much Mom ! Love never dies it just grows stronger with each and every day ! I´ll be with you some day and we can live it up then ! Here´s to the the best mom ever ! Forever in my thoughts and love !
