MARY COLO Obituary
Ocala - Mary Virginia Colo, 88, was born on December 13, 1928. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 18,2017 at North Florida Regional Medical Center with family at her side. She was born in Montaque, Mass on December 13, 1928. Sh was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Stenard. She attended local schools and graduated form Turners Fall High Schoool in 1947. She married Joseph Colo in May 1961 and lived and raised her family in Orange, MA until moving to Ocala, FL in 1979. She was a retired dental receptionist. Mary enjoyed traveling and spending time with the family and relatives. She enjoyed sewing and knitting and was an avid reader. Mary was very active in the local Moose Lodge in Ocala holding various leadership offices and earned her red cap. She was a devout Catholic.
Mary is survived by her spouse of 56 years, Joseph Colo. Her survivors also include a son: Steven Daniel Colo (Donna) of Ocala, FL.; daughter: Joann Beth Baugher and two grand children: Ross Baugher and Sarah Baugher of Port Orange; daughter: Terri Louise Rogers (Kenneth) of Pipersville, PA.
Services will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ocala, FL on Saturday, June 24th 2017 at 10:00am, reception to follow.
Burial will be held at a later date In Orange M.A..
