HARPER, MILLICENT DELANO (DEANO) DOUGLAS, 73



Olathe, KS - Millicent D. Harper, 73, Olathe, KS, passed away May 30, 2007. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. (Bud) Harper, and parents Carl Beecher and Eunice Bracey Douglas, she is survived by son, H. Whitt Harper and Colleen M. Harper of Ocala, FL, and daughter, Amber H. and Derek Wiles of Olathe, KS; grandchildren, Kristen and Madison Wiles, Danielle and Cristin Morris; sisters, Deanne Vaughan of Birmingham, AL, Jackie Rose of Hendersonville, TN, Shirley Clark of Watertown, TN, Nettie Jones of Jupiter, FL, Linda McCammon of Hendersonville, TN; brothers, Carl B. Douglas of Nashville, TN, Wendell Douglas of Smyrna, TN, and preceded in death by brother Robert (Bobby) Douglas of Camden, TN, and many loved nieces and nephews. Millicent Harper formally of Nashville, resided in Ocala, FL from 1977 before returning to Hendersonville, TN in 2002. In 2005, Millie moved to Olathe to spend time with Kristen and Madison. Millie loved country music and working crossword puzzles. She was an excellent artist as well. She was also a big sports fan, keeping up with the Atlanta Braves Baseball, Vanderbilt Basketball, Florida Gator Football and Basketball, and D.W. on the racetrack. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2007, at FOREST LAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS & FUNERAL HOME, 1150 Dickerson Rd., Goodlettsville, TN 37072, 615-859-5279. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 5th, 2007 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
