NANCY COTTEN Obituary

COTTEN, NANCY JO LUSHER, 68
Greensboro, N.C. - Nancy Jo Cotten, 68, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Wesley Long Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 4, 2012, at Forbis and Dick-North Elm Chapel. Pastor Dan Baker will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Nancy Jo was born June 14, 1943, in Lillybrook, West Virginia, to the late James Leon and Martha Ruth Gallagher Lusher. She retired from Gilbarco after 27 years of service. Nancy enjoyed sitting on her patio, feeding and watching her birds, feeding her deer and just being outdoors. She will be remembered for her love of music and dancing as well as being the best and neatest homemaker and cook. She will be greatly missed by her husband, her children, family, friends and anyone that was fortunate enough to have known her. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Cotten; three daughters: Kimberli, Krista and Kelli Jo; son, Shawn; step-son Tommy; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; three brothers: Frank, Leon and Billy Lusher of Florida. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Forbis and Dick, N. Elm Street Chapel.

I will miss my cousin more than anyone can know, we grew up together, and had lots of wonderful memories, raising our children, next door to each other, and so much more... her brothers and she were my brothers and sisters, so this is so hard to believe.
