Ocala - Ramona J. Smith 76, of Ocala, FL. went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2009 in Ocala, FL. Mrs. Smith was born October 12, 1933 in Enid, Oklahoma. She was a Homemaker and was of the Christian faith. She moved here 33 years ago from El-Paso, Texas. Survived by her loving husband of 56 years James G. Smith of Ocala, FL.; a son: James "J.D." Smith and wife Nanette of Pensacola, FL; a daughter: Diana Marie Jones and husband Greg of Key West, FL.; (2) sisters: Velda Pennock of Lake Jackson, TX.; Fadonna McDowell of Syracuse, NY.; (2) grandchildren: Courtney Cole and Trevor Smith; a great-grandchild: Madeline Cole. Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala, Florida. Arrangements by Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, FL.
