ROBERT HOUSER Obituary
Ocala - Robert L. Houser, 99, passed away September 2, 2016. He was born on May 19, 1917 in Wooster, Ohio to Earl and Grace (Bahl) Houser.
Preceding Robert in death, his wife, Arressee (Brantley); brothers, James and Raymond; sister, Mary Hickin.
Survivors include two children, Linda Schmid of Fruitland Park, FL and Michael Houser of Gulf Breeze, FL; and three grandchildren, Michele Snipes, Steven Houser and Austin Houser; and two great grandchildren, Jake Snipes and Luke Snipes.
Robert was in the United States Air Force and served in Africa during World War II. Robert enjoyed cars and running his various businesses, Houser's Grocery in Coleman, Eatons' Beach in Weirsdale and Video Warehouse in Ocala. Robert was of the Methodist faith.
Visitation will start at 9:30 am with a funeral service at 10:00 am officiated by Rev William Buell at Beyers Funeral Home of Lady Lake, 134 North Hwy 27/441 on Friday, September 9, 2016. Instead of flowers the family request that donations be made to Hospice of Marion County at 3231 SW 34th Ave, Ocala FL 34474. Email Address:
