Ronald Boire Obituary

BOIRE, RONALD S.
Ronald S. (Ronnie) Boire, 54, was called home to be with Jesus on Friday, December 18, 2009. His love for Christ gave him strength and courage through a long battle with his health. His family, many devoted friends and his Christian family with the New Testament Baptist Church (NTBC) of Ocala have been an encouragement and a joy. He was adored by so many and will be missed by all. He leaves behind for now his devoted wife and soulmate Lonnie, daughter Rachelle Mason, son Christopher Boire, daughter -in-law Kelly Hilligus and grandson Aaron Mason. Ronnie also leaves behind his loving mother Joyce Boire, sisters Diana Bittner, Cindy Cook, Christine Boulanger Germain, and Darlene Leatherbarrow, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and adoring friends. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald H. Boire, his brother Michael Boire, and his beloved cat, Tiger. Ronnie was born and raised in NH, and moved to FL with his wife Lonnie in 1979. Ronnie was medically retired from Prudential. Life Insurance, and enjoyed woodworking, cooking, shooting, golfing, fishing and boating. He was a devoted follower of Christ, and spent time in the word daily. He had completed 2 years of a Bible college class at NTBC. He was an inspiration to everyone, and the light of Christ shined so bright in him. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Roberts Funeral Homes Downtown Chapel, 606 SW 2nd Avenue, Ocala, FL. A Celebration of Life service will
be on Monday, December 21, 2009 at 6:00pm at New Testament Baptist Church, 3740 F Silver Springs Boulevard (E. St. Rd. 40). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the NTBC Missions Fund 3740 E. Silver Springs Boulevard, Ocala, FL 34470 in memory of Ronnie Boire. Roberts Funeral Homes Downtown Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

We are so sorry to hear about Ronnie's passing.Ronnie was a inspiration to all of us and we very much enjoyed his friendship. He was always so proud of his wood working projects and it was a pleasure knowing him for the past 25 years. We will miss him deeply and will look forward to a reunion with him some day. I know God has a plan for Ronnie and he will always be remembered by us a good man and a wonderful example of how a person should be. Please accept our deepest sympathy. I remember Ronie many years ago at Memere and Pepere's house in Somersworth during Christmas Eve. All the cousins gathered in the little corner of the kitchen and enjoyed Memere's delicious food before we left to attend midnight mass. Ronie was in the crowd with his great smile and laugh that could be overheard above all the noise. Our deepest sympathy to Ron's family and may all the wonderful memories continue.

I am so very sorry your loss. There are never any words that can help console at a time like this, how well I know. But it does help to know that so many people do care. Always remember, when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.
I love and miss you all,
