Wanda Moriarty Obituary
Ocala - Wanda "Winnie" Moriarty, 86, lost her battle with cancer May 27, 2009. She was born on February 20, 1923 in Bayonne, NJ. Winnie was very proud to be an RN working in the healthcare field. She retired to Brick, NJ. She and her husband Bill moved to Oak Run over 20 years ago. Winnie was a respected water colorist who exhibited paintings both in NJ and Oak Run. Her time and friends of the Art Club of Oak Run were a very important part of her life. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, William. She was the beloved mother of Dennis Moriarty of Ipswich, MA, Nancy Caterson of Glenville, NY, and Thomas Moriarty of Highland Mills, NY. She is also survived by a brother Chester Rogaski of Orange Park along with six cherished grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at Queen of Peace RC Church on Wednesday, June 3 at 8:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to Hospice of Marion County.
