Ocala - Jesus came and called William Joseph Eberhardt from this life on March 11, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Eberhardt served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a Supervisor of Manufacturing in the paper products industry. William was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, life member of Angela Santos Post #4781, American Legion of Ocala. He enjoyed playing golf, gardening and constructing bird houses. Mr. Eberhardt is survived by his daughter Lynda P. Cifarelli, New Port Richey, FL, son Bruce W. Eberhardt, Lynbrook, NY; sister Erna Cole, Irving CA; and 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Pauline A. Eberhardt and his sister Margaret Ciccotelli. Funeral Mass for Mr. Eberhardt will be on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 8:30 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, SR 200 Ocala, FL with Father Patrick J. O'Doherty officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley TimberRidge Chapel, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, FL. Inurnment will be on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with Military Honors provided by Angela Santos VFW Post 4781 of Ocala. Condolences may be posted to hiers-baxley.com .
