Alice McNeil Obituary
Alice McNeil, 93, of Oconto, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at Bellin Hospital, Oconto. Alice was born March 25, 1921 in Chippewa Falls to the late James and Beatrice (Sloat) Tupper. She married Robert McNeil. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1998. Alice worked at the First National Bank, Oconto, for many years. She was a die hard Green Bay Packers fan. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Oconto.
Alice is survived by a brother, Eugene (Betty) Lanners; nieces, Jill (Michael) Capser, Connie (Michael) Murphy, Marcia (Larry) Larson; nephew, Keith (June) Grady. Also survived by special friends, Jeannie Young, Cheri Burkhalter, Nancy McDowell and many wonderful neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mitzi McNeil, brother, Melvin Tupper, three sisters, Muriel Ness, Gwendolyn Grady, Carol Anderson and a great nephew, Kyle Grady.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM Monday, November 10, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Craig Alwin officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery. We wanted to reach out and send our condolences since the weather prevented us from traveling to the service today. My grandfather was Bill McNeil, Bob's brother. My parents, Karen (Alice's niece) & Gib Buser and I had planned to join you today and were so very disappointed to not be able to make it there. We will always remember Alice's beautiful, loving, kind heart. She never aged and always stayed graceful. May she enjoy her eternal home until we are all joyfully reunited with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Kris (Buser) Groell

I fondly remember Alice's beautiful smile and incredible patience. She taught me so much on my first job as a teller at First National Bank. My sincere condolences for your loss. May fond memories of Alice fill your heart and may her smile always shine brightly upon you.

Alice was the best teacher anybody could have asked for both in a professional setting and also in how she viewed life and treated people. I enjoyed working with Alice at the bank in Oconto. Wanda Hugo

Alice was a very special lady. She truly cared for everyone she met. She always had a smile on her face, that made you feel right at home with her. I'm lucky to have met such a wonderful lady.
