David Turner Obituary
ARLINGTON - David R. "Dave" Turner, 71, of Arlington, died Sunday afternoon, Aug. 30, 2020 at the VA Central Health Care System in Des Moines. He was born Aug. 9, 1949 at Manchester, to Robert Alfred and Josephine Donna (Nus) Turner. Military: USAF Vietnam War. Survivors: daughter Mary (Daryl) Janek, son Daniel (Chris), two grandchildren, a brother and a nephew.
Funeral service is 10:30?a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Arlington with Pastor Clark Baldwin officiating and USAF military honors. Visitation: 4-7?p.m. Thursday and after 9:30?a.m. Friday. Social distancing and face masks are required at all times.

Mary and Dan. Don't know if you remember, but David was the key person to create the Fayette county 4H Foundation permanent endowment. His leadership was truly appreciated. The endowment continues to grow and support 4H! Fun BBQs with his personal touch helped promote the fund! Thank you David!
