HAZLETON - Debra L. Thomas, 62, of Hazleton, died Wednesday morning, March 10, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral service will be 11?a.m. Monday, March 15, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein, with Carol Hamilton officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein.
Visitation will be from 10?a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.

Debra Lynn Kisner was born July 15, 1958 at Oelwein, the daughter of John Joseph and Jean M. (Payne) Kisner. She attended Oelwein Community Schools and later received her GED. Debra was united in marriage to Larry Thomas and they later divorced. Debra enjoyed fishing, camping, working in her garden, going to the casino and her grandchildren.
Debra is survived by her significant other of many years: Bill Blume of Hazleton; three children: Andrea (Bob) Iseton of Oelwein, Mandy Thomas of Grizzly Flats, California and Contessa Thomas of Ohio; five grandchildren; brothers: Mike (Dawn) Kisner of Oelwein and Dean (Linda) Kisner of Topeka, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Karan Helmuth; and brother-in-law: Harley Helmuth.
