HAWKEYE - Jacqueline A. Anderson, 79, of Hawkeye, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, at Maple Crest Manor in Fayette.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 6, at the United Methodist Church in Randalia with the Rev. Julie Ahrens officiating. Burial will follow at Dunham Grove Cemetery, rural Randalia. Visitation will precede services at the church on Monday starting at 9:30 a.m.

Jacqueline Ann, daughter of Jason and Mardelle (Driscoll) Bichard was born Feb. 27, 1944, in Oelwein. She was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Oelwein. Jacquie received her education in the Oelwein School System and graduated from Oelwein High School in 1963. On July 16, 1963, she was united in marriage with Earl Anderson. To this union two children were born, Brenda and Doug. The couple farmed, rural Hawkeye for several years prior to becoming avid antique collectors, and sold antiques in many shops and malls over the years. She was a member of the Merryville Social Club. In addition to Jacquie's love of antiques, she enjoyed baking, and going for rides, going out to dinner, and going to the river.
Jacquie is survived by her two children, Brenda (Kent) Moore of Elgin and Doug (Stefanie) Anderson of Des Moines; two granddaughters, Natalie Moore of Los Angeles, California and Cassidy Anderson of Des Moines; grandson, Abner Affrey Anderson; step-grandson, William Brown; and siblings, Jerrald (Patricia) Birchard of Hillsboro, Texas, Jean (Al) Baldwin of Oelwein, Jane (Dave) Briden of Cedar Falls, Joy (Eugene) Purdy of Oelwein, Jolene (James) Olson of Benson, Tennessee, and Joan (Lindsey) Hershey of Brandenburg, Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl on Nov. 25, 2016.
