Russell Getz Obituary
He served in the Army in World War II and enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout his life.
Russ passed away at his daughter's home in Long Beach, California, on July 9, 2015 at the age of 95.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra Desjardins, two grandsons, Yan (Stella) Desjardins and Sacha Desjardins and three great-grandchildren, Breeana, Aiden and Evan.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Leslie Getz.
Russell will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery in Riverside, California at a later date. Luybe Dilday Mortuary, 5161 Arbor Rd., Long Beach, Calif., is handling arrangements.
