I am so sorry to hear of you mom's passing. She has been a good family friend for a long time. She would always call to make sure that Jill and I made it home ok when we came back to Iowa and would sneak treat boxes into Mom's car for us or the grandkids.
I am excited for the legacy that the animal shelter will be for your family and hope that the fundraising is over the top soon.

You all mean a lot to me,

Shirley was a great classmate and friend. We last talked about six weeks ago, and I could hear in her voice that she was not feeling up to par at all. She was so kind to Gordon and me; she made Oelwein "home" again to me when I moved back in 1997. She will be missed, but she is now with Ray!
