JOYCE MARIE WINTER Joyce Marie Winter passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center in West Branch, Michigan, at the age of 86. She was born on June 22, 1939, in Grayling, MI, to Thomas and Myrtle (Huffman) Ramsey.  She was a proud graduate of Mio High School, Class of 1957. Joyce's life was characterized by her deep commitment to her family. After graduating from high school, she dedicated herself to raising her family, nurturing and supporting her children with unwavering love. Throughout her life, Joyce engaged in a variety of hobbies and interests that brought her happiness. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, enjoyed playing cards, and found relaxation in fishing. Dancing and listening to classic country music were also among her cherished pastimes, supporting Leon with his music and events he played at, creating lasting memories. She was a devoted mother to her children, Kris Winter, Amy Winter, Rose (Mark) Antcliffe, Doug Winter, and Brenda (Tracy) Zimmer. Her legacy continues with her grandchildren, Katie Winter, Lucas (Samantha) Winter, Taylor Zimmer, and Jody Zimmer, along with her great-grandchildren, Jacob Winter, Mackenzie Winter, and Carson McKelvey. Joyce also shared a bond with her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joseph and Delores Winter, and enjoyed the companionship of her special friend, Yvonne Winter. She took great joy in her many nieces and nephews, who brought light and laughter into her life. Joyce is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband, Leon Winter, and her late son, Fred Winter, her parents, siblings, Thomas Ramsey, Richard Ramsey, Madelene (Ray) Winter, Roy Ramsey, and Harold Trisch, and her great-granddaughter, Jessica Winter. The family would like to thank MyMichigan Medical Center in West Branch for their care. A visitation in honor of Joyce will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Homes - West Branch, with a Rosary service beginning at 3:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM. Father Al Pillarelli will officiate.  Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family. Joyce Marie Winter's spirit will continue to live on through the love she shared and the memories she created with her family and friends.
