Melvin Peterson Obituary
POLO, IL – Melvin Peterson, age 73, passed away February 21, 2026, quietly at home, after a long illness. He loved riding his antique tractors, building and running his train layout, and talking on the phone with his friends.
Melvin is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara; son, Anthony (Shelly); son, Michael; daughter, Lisa; son Melvin Jr. (Kalah); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved and was very proud of.
Cremation rites have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home, Mt. Morris, IL.

Very sorry to hear of Melvin´s passing..... I enjoyed hanging with Melvin when he visited my family in Tennessee during the summers back in the 1970´s. Prayers for the family.
