Warm Summer Sun
Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

My great-grandmother (Carmen Newberry Jackson) and Alan's mother were sisters. I will keep the Foshee family in my prayers. Cousin Alan was a sweet, funny, and colorful person. He'll be missed.
