So sorry to hear of Al's passing - my deepest sympathy to Al's family. He was such a kind soul with always a good word and good deed for everyone.
Graduated from North with him, but enjoyed his humor and little uplifts via Facebook in recent years.

My sincere condolences to the D'Amico family for your loss of Al. I grew up a block from Al when we were kids, and we graduated from North High together. Al was one of the nicest, kindest, and funniest guys I ever knew. It was a joy to know him and to be around him. Nobody ever said a bad word about Al. All the kids in our neighborhood thought the world of him. He loved playing baseball with us at our baseball field in the woods. He was our first baseman. We recently invited Al to our high school football reunion, but he was not able to attend. I was really looking forward to seeing him there because I had not seen him in many years. Al was really and truly a great guy, and I know he will be missed tremendously.
