BARBERTON -- Anna Zema, 98, passed away March 11, 2008 at Manor Care of Barberton.
Born in Johnstown, Pa., she had been an area resident most of her life where she retired from Yoder Brothers after 33 years of service. She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church and the Dormition Ladies Guild.
Preceded in death by husband, Joseph Jr. and infant daughter; survivors include sons, Joseph III (Irma) of Fayetteville, N.C., David of Barberton, and Charles (Lynne) of Green; daughter, Donna (Bobbie) Murphy of Xenia, Ohio; grandchildren, Linda, Mark, Gary, Joseph IV (Susan) and George (Robin) Zema, Pollyanne (Bill) Green, and Bryan (Paula) Perkins; great-grandchildren, Christy and Eric Green, Joseph V and Nicholas Zema, and Broderick and Anna Perkins; sister, Helen Sekerak of Barberton; sister-in-law, Sally Rajniak of Barberton.
Divine Liturgy will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008, 11:00 A.M. at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 1051 Robinson Ave., Fr. Robert Stash officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 4 to 7 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. W. Parastas Service at 5 P.M.

Joe, Dave, donna and Willy, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember your Mother well. She was a fine woman. This brings back lots of Snydertown memories. I will hold Helen and Sally near my heart also.
