The Smart-Nixon Family offer our condolences to the entire Sherman Family. We go back to the Euclid Ave. neighborhood, which consisted of the Olivers,Evans,Mitchells,Yancys,Phillips,Pattersons, etc. These were big families that looked out for each other and cared about each other.Over the years I pray that the family have remained close.Death can tear families apart.I was sad to read about Mrs.Sherman's death, but she is in a better place.I'll pray for the family left behind.Sorry due to work I couldn't make it to the wake or funeral.

To the Sherman's:
Know that earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal. And your friends care and share in your sorrow . Your MOTHER was a wonderful example of a GODLEY woman and a virtuous woman, she met no strangers and made all who knew her feel right at home, always.SHE FOUGHT A GOOD courageous FIGHT !!!! and with her daughter as a care giver,Gods grace & mercy, many Prayers, other family & friends, she was able to endure the battle.Charlotte, you need to know God honors a childs love for her or his mother especially when you become the care giver,So be encouraged and know your job was well done, you truely served your mother and loved her, just as the rest of your family did. But find comfort in knowing,if you could see her now Walking streets of gold, if you could see her now standing tall and whole,if you could see her now..,you wouldn't want her to come back to this place ,now thats she's looking face to face ,with the father. So let all this comfort you all, in knowing she is safe in the arms of God!
