Many years ago Mom and Pops took me in as not only a friend of Beths but treated me as I was one of their daughters...He is with Beth now and will be watching over all of us keeping us in line...Anything I can do let me know...Love you all.

Tony Mortimer was a significant influence on my childhood. His laughter and good fun, his jokes and his smile, his magazine truck on the promonade at Barry Island where he let me work in the summer, the Dormobile trip when he and Olly took me to Lilla's house in London, that picnic on Turkeyfoot Lake in 1977 and many more are all memories I will treasure. But it was his frequent support and understanding for me, an often awkward, ungainly young boy that helped move me into adulthood, that leave the really lasting memory of him. If he was on the Prom now, listening to me say these things, he would tell me to "Shut up and do something useful, here is sixpence. Go over to the Beaufort cafe and get me a cup of tea"

As a child in Wales, I remember Tony so well. His smiling face and curly hair were his trademarks. Then when we lived in Akron for two years in the 90's he and Olwen were so kind to us. I regret that I did not have an opportunity to see him again after that. We will miss you Tony and are thankful only that you no longer have to suffer the pains of your long illness. With much affection, Susan and Alex Baraldi

What can you say at a time like this ?. Tony was one of the "Good Guys" and they are not making so many of them these days. Both Connie and my thoughts are with you and the family.

A memory of my Uncle Tony doesn’t come to mind without remembering my Dad, Bill Fredholm, and Beth. My memories are of two little girls with their Daddies at Geauga Lake on nickel night, flying kites, posing for pictures, waiting for Santa, or just watching the TV on Saturday nights. My thoughts are will all those who were touched and loved by my Uncle.

Grampy was a wonderful determined strong willed man. The greatest man I ever knew and we all loved him. I know he is with my Mother now, walking tall and being the strong man he always was. We will all miss him greatly and we express our thanks to every one who is helping us get through this tough time right now. We were so lucky to have him here with us as long as we did. He will watch over us all.
