Aorica Demiter Obituary
Aorica "Erika" Demiter, 74, born in Mali Zam, Yugoslavia, peacefully went home to be with Jesus her Savior on Monday, February 13, 2017 at her home in Wadsworth, Ohio.
She gave her life to the Lord as a young teenager and was a member of
the Apostolic Christian Church, Nazarene. She was always cheerfully sharing her words of wisdom and encouragement with everyone. In 1969 she married her husband of 44 years, John Demiter. Using her talents of design and aesthetics, the two of them started a construction company and built many beautiful custom homes in San Diego, CA. She was also a gifted seamstress and dressmaker, designing and sewing custom wedding gowns.
She will be remembered for her love of wise sayings and Proverbs, and lived life with a contagious, positive attitude. She had a spirit of empathy and often looked for opportunities to help those in need whenever she could. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren, showing them unconditional love and encouragement.

her children, Joanna Armbruster, David
(Suzanne) Demiter, Douglas (Maria) Demiter; precious grandchildren, Nathan, Lauren, Michael, Hannah, Sarah, Daniel, Preston, Alexis and
Tessa; siblings, Livia
(Andrew) Szabo, Maria Petrica; many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Demiter; parents, Stefan and Siminica Petrica; brother, John (Ursula) Petrica; sister, Viorica Pasku; five infant siblings; and grandson, Nicholas Demiter.
Family will receive friends Friday, February 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, OH 44203, where funeral services will also be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Ministers of Apostolic Christian Church Nazarene will officiate. Funeral home map, directions, and the Demiter Family condolence book are available at the funeral home website.
