Barbara (Boyd) Magazzeni

Barbara (Boyd) Magazzeni, 89, passed away peacefully, December 3, 2017, surrounded by her loving children. She was born in Mayben, Alabama on December 19,1927 and raised in Akron, Ohio.

Barbara will be remembered by her passion of sports, love of nostalgic game shows, her wit, her sense of humor, the way she had a song/jingle for any occasion, and the color blue. She enjoyed scratch offs and playing Bingo, and traveling with her husband. Her greatest joy was the laughter of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her love for her husband of 63 years was like no other, forever and eternal. Her love and devotion will be forever remembered in the hearts of all of her family members who loved her dearly and will miss this beautiful woman that we call mommy!

Preceded in death by her parents, George and Maggie Boyd; infant son, Daniel Sean; sisters, Joyce, Sue, Anna and Mary Jo;, brother, George and son-in-law, Tom Thompson. She is survived by sons, Albert (Karen), Steve (Becky) and Mike (Valerie); daughters, Susie, Becky (Kyle) and Cathy; grandchildren, Jennifer (Will), Nichole, Kyle (Angela), Autumn, Danny, Kayla (Travis), Ashley, Rebecca, Kyle Dean, Suzanne, Madelaine, Samantha and Dominic; great grandchildren, Sabin, Jake, Madison, Lance, Ryan, Cadence, Brayden, Valerie, Maci and Ainsley; brother, Patrick (Marie); the Magazzeni family and many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Schlup Pucak Funeral Home with Fr. Sam. Ciccolini officiating. Burial will take place on Thursday at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
