Barbara Rumel Obituary
Barbara Jean Rumel, 73, passed away on March 26, 2017.
A viewing will take place on Thursday, April 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron, Ohio.
The funeral service for Barbara will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 735 N. Revere Road, Akron, Ohio, at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 14. The family will receive friends there at 10 a.m., prior to the service, to reminisce. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park, 2613 Sackett Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Barbara, Carol and I went to Garfield High School together. We sang in the choir and were in a special vocal ensemble, A Capella. We were also involved with Youth for Christ. Many fond memories of both Barbara and Carol. My deepest condolences to Barbara's family. May God's comfort and peace sustain you. - Jeanette Sullivan

Barb, you were a great counselor at Rotary Camp. Just last night I was remembering the campfire songs and how all of us campers ragged on you and Carol with our "Oh you can't get to Heaven...". You two were always picked on because everyone loved you both so much - your humor, laugh, talents and personalities made you two everyone's favorite! Peace, always!
