I am not surprised so many people from all walks of life have wonderful memories of Birdie. As a novice woodcarver, she amazed me with her respect for nature when she carved a rabbit and used the shavings for grass in the piece.

It was a joy to know Birdie and to be able to serve as her pastor. She will be missed by her entire church family. Birdie never ceased to amaze me at what she was able to accomplish. A woman of many talents, and a love for her Lord.
