Dear Brian,
It's been a while since you left us, but I just found this site. You were the model of courage to your family-both your siblings and your wife and kids. You fought a good fight, honey, and one day we will see you again.
Love,
Your big sister Pat

Brian was always so nice to me. I was a scrawny hippie and while we weren't real close I always got the feeling from him that he would have stuck up for me had it become necessary. Definitely one of my favorite people and I'm so sorry he's gone.

My sympathies to his family.

To all the Ahern's. It was with great sadness to hear of Brian's death yesterday. It brought back may fond memories our times together in grade school and junior high. (How your mom could fit one more kid in for a family meal on the back porch on Berrywood I'll never know!) My deepest sympathies to all.
