Brian A. Bogdanski

Brian Albert Bogdanski, 56, passed away unexpectedly on October 9, 2018. Beloved son of

Albert and Barbara (Lesneskie) Bogdanski, Brian attended Revere High School, Mendenhall School of Auctioneering (NC) and Cuyahoga Community College; also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Brian was an active Christian; kind, fun-loving and witty. A college thespian, singer and salesman, he had the proverbial gift of gab and endless creative humor. A thoughtful, entertaining soul with a big heart and bear hugs; he often helped others and enjoyed traveling. Brian was a music and well-read history buff, with an impressive memory. He cherished high school memories of speech & debate, ski patrol, track and football. An avid hunter/ fisherman and NRA Life Member, he was a metro parks trail volunteer, hiker and gardener with innovative ideas. An airplane and car enthusiast to the core, Brian always enjoyed mom's cooking, a quality beer, conversations with dad and adventures at the family farm.

Preceded in death by all of his grandparents, including treasured grandmother, Anna Lesneskie; niece, Blair and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brian will be dearly missed by his parents, Albert and Barbara; sister, Coleen; brother, Glenn (Lisa); sister,

Tammy (Bret); nephew, Grant; nieces, Helen and Vivien, along with several caring aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 28th, 2 - 6 p.m. in the Rose Hill Funeral Home 3653 W Market St Akron, OH 44333, where the Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 29th at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Keith McLaughlin, officiating. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Richfield, OH. The family kindly requests no additional flowers.
