What an amazing family! Dick and Carroll were some of my parents very very best friends. We loved Mark, Kirk, Craig and Scott too. I remember numerous family gatherings as being the very best of times as children. I am so sorry to hear of Carroll's passing. May prayers go out to all Candle's and their families.

Dear Mark, Kirk, Craig and Scott,
Your mom was a super sweet lady and your dad was also very nice too. We lived 2 doors down on Briner many years ago. I remember how you rode Julie in the wagon!! Julie really loved your mom.
Jeff remembers riding bikes with you and wants me to extend his sympathy to you guys from Seattle. Your mom always had time for us and was a great neighbor.

Indeed, this month has been difficult for the Candle Family. Your mom and dad were so sweet. Their home was open to all. Scott, extra prayers for your family. Although covid has restricted gatherings, please know you are in the Pirogowicz Family's prayers.

Carroll was a blessing to our church and to her family and friends. She was dedicated, hardworking and true to her beliefs. It was my pleasure to call her my friend. I know she is in heaven teaching the angels to play the bells. My sympathies to her family. She will be missed.

Carroll was a fine lady and we will all miss her. I love that ornery little grin she had. Always enjoyed talking to her. Rest easy, Carroll.

It was nothing shy of a miracle in looking back at the days of listening to the boys play music in the basement that with her own boys there was always room left open for the rest of us in the neighborhood. Times on the front porch helping to fold papers and playing ball in the backyard .. these are fond memories of my childhood to which Mrs. Candle was a gentle guiding force. My deepest sympathy to the family for their loss and the pain they have endured together.

Dear Candle family, I was in Kirk's graduating class at Ellet. I also worked with Carroll at City Hospital 30+ years ago. She volunteered in the ICU with us. She used to bring us cookies and baked goods most times she was there. She was kind and accommodating always. I am sad for you. May you be comforted by how much light she brought to people's lives. Take care of yourselves.

My Sympathy to Mark Craig Kirk and Scott and all their families .

Carroll Candle was a force of nature ; she lead choirs, she volunteered at the hospital , she raised her kids and other kids, She counseled more people than i can count, She sang a few choirs.
She ran the Circle of Light and coordinated making Buckeyes
She was the Superintendent of Sunday School . She lead VBS and on and on. I have known this sweet woman all my life . She was a great lady and a fine friend to people of all ages...She is the type of person we will wonder how life can go on without here. But she would be the first one to say Get on With it.
I loved Carroll and her wonderful optimistic attitude. Her kindness and her support were there so many times. Blessings on her great family and sweet memories for us all.
