) Celia Brown, 83, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2021. She was born January 31, 1938 in Masury, Ohio to the late Arthur and Sophie Snyder. Celia retired from Carter Lumber Company, where she was their first female lumber buyer. Grandma "Browns" had so much love for her kids, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Even in her last days, seeing pictures of her family brought a smile through it all. Celia and her daughter Barb spent time together traveling and shopping and making wonderful memories together. She had a true Charlie Brown Christmas tree and loved the Eeyore her grandsons bought her. Besides her parents, Celia was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; son, David; brothers, Ralph, Arthur "June" and Phillip "Sonny" Snyder; sisters, Margaret "Etta" Catterson and Wilma "Jean" Palmer. She is survived by her daughter, Barb (Tim) Eckberg; grandchildren, Nathan (Kaylene) and Jonathan (Sydney) Eckberg and Rebekah Brown; great grandchildren, Theodore Timothy and Jude Trenton Eckberg; brother, David (Rhea) Snyder; sister-in-law who became her very special friend, Ann "Tissie" Shuman; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Celia spent her last days at Greenview Assisted Living and the family would like to give a special thanks to Jennifer, Karen, Dusty, Michelle, and the entire staff there for making her feel loved her last few days. We all loved her a bushel and a peck. Memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E.
