Dear Aunt Mildred, Janet, and Marilyn,
I will also miss Uncle Charles. He was a wonderful example of kindness, a loving personality, and great humor. He and my Aunt Mildred have always been so kind to my parents, Ed and Evelyn Buchwald in their times of need. We spent many holidays together when I was younger, we shared many laughs. When I married and had my boys, Uncle Charles would bounce them on his knee as they were his own grandchildren and sing the "Frog on the Lilypad, ain't gonna rain...." many times. I have so many loving memories, I will never forget....
I am so thankful he had good health most of his life, and did not suffer with his illness.
May Uncle Charles rest in peace.
With all my love,
Elsie (Buchwald) Ziebro

To Janet, Marilyn and Mildred,
I will miss Uncle Charles very deeply. I loved his gentleness, how when you would tease him, he would pause briefly giving some thought to his reply, and then typically say something funny in return. I loved that he enjoyed playing games and enjoyed them even more when he was winning. I loved that he enjoyed solving problems and usually had great ideas about how to approach something. I loved that he used to pull me for rides in a curved sided wagon on the sidewalk around his house when we would visit. How wonderful that he remained strong and independent until briefly before his death. Charles was and continues to be a blessing to those with whom he spent time in the form of loving memories. Thank you Lord Jesus for his life in mine and for bringing him into Your presence. Ed Buchwald, nephew.

We were very sad to hear of the passing of great uncle Charles. Our hearts are heavy today and we pray for the family during this difficult time.
Although we didn't get to spend much time with him or know him closely, his impact was great and he sincerely left his imprint in our hearts and minds in his own special way.
May the Lord now and forever keep you safe in eternal rest, Uncle Charles.
Very sadly,
