D'Cortez Taylor Obituary
D'Cortez Taylor, 23, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2017.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Caren Taylor; grandmother, Rose Taylor; sister, Tierra Darshaun Richerson; brothers, Dion Taylor, and Julius G.; the love of his life, fiance, Tisha Dowdell; best friends, Rodney Childs Jr., Tatum and Davionne Laramore; and many other relatives and friends.
To all the young men and women that will be attending my son's funeral. I am asking that when you enter into The House of the Lord Church with respect, dignity and self control of your behavior. I am asking that there be no photos taken and cell phones turned off during the service. If you cannot abide by the following request you will be escorted out.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. at The House of the Lord, 1650 Diagonal Road, Akron, Ohio 44320. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until time of service. Pastor Darren Drake, eulogizing. Interment at Mt. Peace cemetery. Condolences may be sent to P.O. Box 2374, Akron, Ohio 44309.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tez while he was attending school at Perkins with my daughters. He was a very smart loving young man he would often walk my daughters home and would make sure I knew they got in safely! This was very sad news to me and them and I will keep your family in my prayers.
