I never knew my uncle Dan very well in my adult life. But I will remember, as a youth, how well he treated me and all the kind things he did for my mother and myself.
Lots of tips on that lawn mower and other things that a young boy needed to learn. Never a harsh word or an insult either. He was a man who I will remember all my life. Condolences from my mother and I to my cousins, Charlotte, Elaine, Regina, Carol and Dan JR and Aunt Juanita and family.

Your friendly smile, and kindness will always be remembered. You will be missed for your attention to all of the children and how you kept them amused. We all loved you. May God find a special place for you.
