David Pell Obituary

David W. Pell, 49, suddenly went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 10, 2005.

He resided in both Akron, Ohio, and Boone, N.C. David grew up in the Kenmore area and graduated from Kenmore High School in 1974. He had many natural talents. David was a gifted carpenter and licensed journeyman. He belonged to the Northeast Ohio District Council of Carpenters, Local 639. His gift to the Akron area was as a finisher to the building of Quaker Square.

David was a kind and loyal friend to many and had a deep personal faith. He was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple. His legacy of love will live forever in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by son, Joseph M. Pell, and brother, Charles R. Pell. He is survived by his parents, William W. and Geneva Pell of Akron; sons, David G. and Jeffery Pell of West Jefferson, N.C.; brothers, Fred W. (Sandy) Pell of Trade, Tenn., and Robert L. Pell of Hollywood, Fla.; Aunt Edith McAlister; loving nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Friends may call at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., on Thursday, Dec. 15, from 3 to 8 p.m., where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service, Rev. Ernie Kemppel officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family requests that memorials be sent to the David G. and Jeffery Pell College Fund, c/o Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Akron, Ohio 44319.
