I am saddened to hear that DeForest Thomas has made his earthly transition. He and I along with my sister Charlene were classmates and graduated from South High together. We will cherish the memory of those days and we send our sincere condolences to DeForest's family during this most precious moment in time.

No one knows just what to say when someone has loss their loved one. There are the usual things that people say that may add some comfort at this time. Don't let anyone tell you how long you should grieve. Know that it is okay to talk to a professional if you need to. I know that time will eventually heal your hearts. God gave you something that no one can take away from you...the memories of Anthony while he was here on earth. Cherish them and talk about them with your family. It can be therapeutic.
