Dennis Braman Obituary
Born in Barberton, he was a long-time area resident; he also resided in Michigan, Indiana and most recently in Memphis, Tennessee.
He was a 1987 graduate of Revere High School and attended Ohio State University, "GO BUCKS!", University of Akron and received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Phoenix. Dennis was employed by AutoZone as a Divisional Loss Prevention Manager and licensed Certified Forensic Investigator.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward Rector, Mildred and Ralph Braman and Richard Barton; Dennis is survived by his parents, Donna (Larry) Barton and Barry (Karen) Braman; brother, Shawn (Tina) Braman; stepsisters, Elizabeth (Daniel) Hall, Jennifer (Daniel) Vari and Meredith (Kirk) Gibbons; grandmothers, Marjorie Rector and Dorothy Barton; fiancée, Eva Clay; beloved dogs, "Maggie" and "Sonny"; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Barberton First Church of Christ, 552 Harvard Ave., Barberton 44203 with Russ Shreiner officiating. Calling hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, 44203. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1815 W. Market Street, Suite 108, Akron, Ohio 44313 or Pawsibilites, Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087.

We all will miss Denny. I will remember him mostly from teasing him about always being on his phone when I ran into him and chatting about his compassion for animals. Although we didn't work directly together he always took the time to joke and talk with me. My condolences to his family.

To have had such a beautiful life in Ohio and continuing that life in Memphis with Denny, Lexi and Jon and to have that gone in a slit second just breaks my heart for you. With the Christmas tree still up, the stockings with all your names still hanging from the mantle, well friend, no words could even be said to comfort you and your family in this time of grief. You Have our Deepest Condolences and Sympathy at the loss of your Beloved Denny. We had the privilege of living across the street from Denny and his Family on Hermann St. in Barberton. Our Son Jerry and Denny were only a few days apart in age and I can still see Denny throwing rocks at Jerry when they were about 4 years old. Then when they started Kindergarten and was in the same class they became almost inseparable until Denny and your Family moved away. We have a lot of Fond Memories of Denny and Your Family as you can see from pee-wee football and the first ten plus years of Denny's life. I met Dennis at Sterling and was friends with him for years. He was always so funny and so truly nice to everyone. Remembering all of our fun times together makes me laugh and smile. Unfortunately, we lost touch after he moved, but hearing of his passing still breaks my heart. I can't imagine the hurt the family is feeling.
I hope that all of the kind words and wonderful memories that everyone is sharing will provide comfort in these days of sorrow.
