This is the first time he ever left a party early. Dennis Campana died unexpectedly August 24, 2021. He was born in Massachusetts on April 25, 1947 to Joseph and Marisa Campana. He lived there until he joined the US Air Force in 1965. After the military he pursued a career in sales, which brought him to Akron in 1981. He met Priscilla Pittman shortly after, and they married July 4, 1982. They had one daughter, Missy (Campana) Birdwisa. He was preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla, who died earlier this year. Hopefully she is keeping him out of trouble. He was also preceded in death by his parents, including stepfather, Earl Berthiaume; his sister, Diane (Steven) Rosenberg; brother, Earl Berthiaume, and grandson, Logan. He is survived by his daughter, Missy (Pete) Birdwisa; grandsons, Rory and Bodhi; brother, Joseph (Jacinta) Campana; sisters, Jean Tappan and Nannette (David) Ohman; cousin, David (Pam) and aunt, Lori Lorenzi; sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews, and his good friends at SouthPoint Tavern. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. THURSDAY, October 7th at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Inurnment immediately following at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Folds of Honor Foundation, Department 13, Tulsa, OK 74182. I'm very sad to hear this news. Dennis and I worked near each other for several years and he was a great client. Will miss our light hearted interactions.
