Martha & Laura - I just learned of your Dad's passing while doing some research on Ancestry.
I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Don was always kind to me as a child - one of the few adults who spoke to me as a person and not a silly kid. I recall a vacation at the lake playing cards (me, Anne and Chris and your Dad) on the screened porch that brings back fond memories -so long ago and things surely did change.
I hope you are both well.

to all of Don's family: I am so sorry for your loss. Don was one of my parents' best friends, George and Ruth Ceteras. When they were ill in the nursing homes in Canton and then Hartville, Don was a frequent visitor. When they passed, he became like an uncle to me.The last time I saw Don in person was at my mom's funeral in Aug 2014 as I then moved to Las Vegas. We would chat on the phone and he would give me fatherly advice. I last spoke with Don on August 9. I will miss our phone calls. He was a great friend to me and my parents! Sincerely, Nancy Dooley, Las Vegas, Nevada

My sympathy & prayers goes to all of you. I knew Don when I used to work at the bank. Always smiling and having a great sense of humor. I always enjoyed seeing him at the store, I will miss him. May he rest in peace.
