Doug Turley

Doug Turley of Akron passed away at age 75 on May 31, 2018. He was born on August 28, 1942 in St. Albans, West Virginia to Betty Hill and Melvin Turley.

Doug attended St. Albans High School and was a welder, most recently at TRM. He was married to Doris Easter for 42 years until she passed in 2004. On August 28, 2016 Doug married Anna Johngrass. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris, parents, stepfather, Earl Hill; sister, Sharon Weber and grandson, John Turley. Doug is survived by wife, Anna; his children, Scott (Stacy), Angie, Chris (Bonnie) and Jennifer Turley; brother Randy Turley; sisters, Elaine Skinner and Shelly Krafchek; grandchildren, Nick (Chantel), Jacob, Christopher, Molly, Matthew and Lucy Turley; and great-grandchild Tripp Turley.

Doug had a passion for hunting, fishing and flower gardening. He died after a short illness and will be missed. The family would like to thank the medical staff at Akron General Hospital for the outstanding care they provided for Doug. There will be no services.
