Elsie Koscik Obituary
Elsie L. Koscik received the gift of eternal life on April 18, 2009, and now lives with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was born on June 28, 1920, in Akron, Ohio. She is not only remembered as a wonderful wife and mother, but also for working in the advertising dept. of Polsky's Dept. Store, and as a secretary at the B. F. Goodrich Tire Division, She served her church, Zion Lutheran faithfully as treasurer of the Women's Missionary League and secretary of the Home and School League. She was an active member in Zion's Ladies Aid, its Altar Guild, and Golden Fellowship. Elsie's love for her family was so important in her life.
She leaves behind her three children, Paul (Sharon) Koscik, Jim (Annette) Koscik, and Carol (Gary) Seger; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Her husband of 62 years, Chester; passed away in July 2008.
Calling hours will be at Zion Lutheran Church, 139 S. High St., Akron, Ohio from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. A private family burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Akron, Ohio or Our Shepherd Lutheran School, Painesville, Ohio.

Dear Family,
We send our deepest sympathy to all of you. When I told my Dad of your mothers passing, he got tears in his eyes. He said, she was the kindnest and sweetest lady and that she never had a unkind word to say. It was a pleasure to have known her.

To the Family of Elsie Koscik,
We are cousins from The Woodlands, Texas. We have corresponded with your mom at Christmas and met with her when we visited the Kosciks. We are sorry to hear of her passing but feel she will be happy to join Chester once again. She was a sweet lady and we send you our sympathies and prayers.
