CLINTON -- Emily M. Geisel, 80, passed away Jan. 9, 2007 at the Hospice Care Center.
Born in Wilmore, Pa., she had been an area resident most of her life, where she was a member of South Akron Orioles 167.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Geisel and son, Daniel Davenport. Survivors include her son, Jack (Becky) Davenport of Clinton; daughters, Dianne (Thomas) Hulsey of Akron and Barbara Liedel of Barberton; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; brother, Lawrence (Dorothy) Conley of Johnstown, Pa.; sister, Mary Ratosky of Barberton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2007, 11 a.m. at SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. W., Barberton, with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling hours Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to VNS Hospice.

I am so sorry to hear that Emily passed away. She was so sweet and I enjoyed all the times we got to visit when she got her hair done. I will miss her a lot.
