I had Mrs. White in kindergarten in 1962. I made contact with her in 1988 thru her former husband Bill who owned a motel in Superior Arizona. It was all by chance our first conversetion was about where we were from and one thing led to another. I wrote Mrs. White a letter thinking she may remember me and when she wrote back she asked about every single family member I had!!! She was a wonderful person and my memories of her will always be near my heart. God Bless your family at this time of loss.

I am so sorry to hear of "Mrs. White's" passing. I remember her so well as being such a caring kindergarten teacher and kind person. She remained a dear friend to my mom from the time they met when my brother, Rex first had her in kindergarten in 1955. They remained good friends all those years. My deepest sympathy to all her family.

Mrs. Stokes was my kindergarten teacher in 1981. I remember her putting out the floor mats for nap time, giving milk and snacks and reading to us. Thoughts and prayers to her family & friends.

Ethel was a wonderful neighbor and friend. She became like a grandmother to my children as we head the pleasure of buying our first house from her. Last I heard from her was during the Christmas season and I was hoping to get to see her soon but sadly it never happened. Rest in Peace Mrs. Stokes, you will never be forgotten.

Janet we have not met face to face but please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother. She was my friend collegue, our Jennifer's Kindergarten teacher and my soroity sister. I will miss her quick smile, sense of humor and her tremendous gift of pulling together Manchester Retired Teachers luncheons also her generosity to so many community projects. I will sorely feel her absence in my life. I too have thought of the great reunion of those Nolley Teachers who have met their heavenly reward. What joy they are experiencing! Mrs. White (Stokes) you were one of my biggest supporters in life! I was able to do a tribute to you in the newspaper and I meant every word! You were the one who caught my disability in Kindergarten and came to my graduation party when I got my masters. You called me often to let me know you read my articles in the suburbanite and how awesome they were. You said you never missed one. You would call me just to see how I was. You were a light to me! Thank you!!

A pillar of Nolley Elementary. She was my kindergarten teacher and my mother's kindy-garden teacher. She taught me how to read, showed me how to paint, and she lit a candle that still burns inside of me today. Thank you for your patience, dedication, and inspiration.

Godspeed, Mom II -- You gave all of us such a good start. I remember lots of meals at your kitchen table, eating off your Fiestaware (which I still love), hearing about your fabulous camping vacations and hanging out with Jan. Good memories. Love, SueZim
