Evelyn Mackey Obituary
NORTON Evelyn M. Mackey (nee Himmelright), 93, died Satur day, June 14, 2003, at Hospice Care Center.
The family will receive friends TODAY, 4 to 7 p.m., at the Hilliard & Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where a Star service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Funeral services Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Grace Lutheran Church, 146 High St., Wadsworth, the Rev. Daniel J. Cammarn and Rev. Ann Paynter officiating. Inter ment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Copley EMS, 1540 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd., Copley 44321. (Hilliard & Mullaney, 330-334-1501.)

My sympathy to all of Evelyn's family. I met her and Al in 1971 during a vacation in Europe. I was only 19 at the time, and they always teased me that they were my "new parents" and were looking after me during the trip. I also spent many Thanksgiving Day dinners with them at Sardi's in New York City. I was lucky to have known Evelyn and will miss her. She was a wonderful lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.
