Ezra Caldwell Obituary

Ezra Caldwell NEW YORK CITY, NY - Ezra Caldwell died on May 24, 2014, at home, in New York City after a long illness. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12, at Union Theological Seminary. He is survived by his wife Hillary Nanney Caldwell, brother-in-law Dr. Tripp Nanney of Chicago, mother-in-law Angela Lindsay of Charlotte, and father-in-law Allan D. Nanney, Jr. of Southern Pines, as well as several family members in NY. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY), or the palliative care organization of your choice.

I thought of you today. I had hoped you hadn't written on your blog because you were on some grand adventure or perhaps starting a new project. While I knew one day I would learn of your death, I had hoped the day would just never get here. You opened your life and your heart to the world. You made an impact and it is lasting.
