I was blessed to have you as my Grandfather. I miss you so much Gramps. I miss your voice, your jokes, your support & advice. You were so special to me & I will never forget all that you have done for me. I am so glad you are not suffering anymore, although I wish you were still here with us, it is comforting to know & believe that God has taken you "home" and you are with Gram once again. I Love you and miss you very much!!!!!

He is my mother's uncle, and still to me he is Uncle Freddie. The one who new my voice and new my name, and new my life, whether he was right next door or half way across the country. Uncle Freddie lived a life to be proud of. We could count on him always. I am happy his pain is over, and sad at the same time. We have lost an icon in our family who can never be replaced.

My Uncle Freddy was an amazing person. He was so much more than an uncle to me, he was my friend and surrogate father. He never let me down and always lifted me up. He had a goofy sense of humor and absolutely no grace. I know that I will always miss him calling me
Silly Goose and the smell of his cigars, but most of all I will miss his hugs. The world was a better place with him in it.

Uncle Fred was my favorite uncle and my godfather. When I was very young, he would take me to Palisades Amusement Park where I rode the carousel until HE was dizzy. We went to the circus for my birthday until I was 8. Fifty years' later, I'm still passionate about carousels and circuses. But his greatest gift was teaching me that I could help others without letting them walk all over me. (Be nice, but don't take crap from anybody!) Love you, Uncle Fred. I'll miss you the rest of my life.
